Here is a problem that I have yet to get resolved from the Newbie group or
Tech. Support. I'd be very grateful if someone could give me an idea as to
what may be wrong, I'm lost.

Sincerely,

Jeff Norris

OK first of all, kudzu assumes (quite wrongly) that /dev/cdrom1 should be
linked to /dev/sr0, and the LS-120 has a habit of getting lost in too many
other ATAPI devices. This is relatively easy to fix. The information
needed is all on your machine.

 cat /etc/fstab
 ls -l /dev/cdrom*
 ls -l /dev/fd0
 dmesg

If your LS-120 is /dev/hdc on your dmesg then make sure the boot parameters
On DrakConf/DrakBoot have hdc=ide-floppy in the append statement. If you
 are not sure,

 less </etc/lilo.conf

 will tell you.

Anyway, get that data from your system and post it and people here will be
able to tell you what to do.

<<Here is my system info. Civileme. Looks like LS-120 is hdc, but I don't know
how to use the append statement correctly. Sorry for the many attachments.
Wasn't sure of the best way to output the results for posting. I'm very new
at this. My past experience with a command line was 'format c:' . Used that
one a lot. :(

Thanks To Anyone That Can Help,

Jeff Norris
