when attempting mandrake 7.1 at work today,
used 
node10.flat3 192.168.0.10
    > exportfs -o ro node2:/mnt/cdrom/

install box node2.flat3 192.168.0.2
always IP as no /etc/hosts
used /mnt/cdrom/
also tried /mnt/cdrom/Mandrake/

think it was permission problem
both failed, ping from node10->node2 worked

feeling strangely puzzled, if can convince cat to curl up in
front of fire, will try again
will also try 7.2 deluxe
