Dear folks,
Until now I have installed two times MDK 7.2 in computer with a CDROM
and a CDRW; the scsi emulation has worked well in both cases.
Yesterday I had a new situation. I installed a new CDRW Sony CRX140 in
the computer of a friend of mine that previously had Windows 98 and
Mandrake 7.2. Now the CDRW is identified in the boot of linux, but is
not accesible at the end. I know that I probably need to create the
device, activate the scsi emulation and configure the fstab file; in
fact I did only the last, but I never did the other two actions.
I think I probably just need to type to comand lines, but what do I
type?
The new CDRW is conected as slave (unit E under windows)
Please could anybody help me?
