[expert] cell phone use (a bit OT)

I end up giving back lots of minutes to AT&T each month for cell phone usage 
I don't use.  I was wondering if there was a way to connect my Linux box  to 
the cell phone and use up those minutes I've paid for? Probably a goofy idea, 
but what the hey.
