Hi all, can anyone send me a copy of a working chat-ppp0 file ?? (its from /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts) You don't use it unless you are using the /sbin/ifup so if you are using kppp or GnomePPP dont send it.. I have figured out that this is the problem,, something has changed since the redhat version that is causing the problem,, when ifup ppp0 is run, the modem tr light starts flashing and thats it,, the modem needs to be reset to work again.. anyone have any idea why this may be? and also why kppp doesn't have this problem? many thanks..
