Well, bummer.
I was happily installing LM 7.2 onto my laptop, and had
gotten all the way to setting up printers, when I accidentally
chose add printer when I did not have any more to add.
So, I was in the infinite loop asking what kind of printer
I wanted (local, lpr, samba, I think).
"Ah, not to fear" I tell myself, "just click back on the
previous step and you'll be back in the running".
Nope (for LARGE values of nope!) - the screen turned white
and the computer no longer appears to see any interrupts.
That is, shift does not light the shift key, caps lock
does not, the three finger salute is silently ignored,
and so forth.
Its a bug, Luke ;-)
Oh, well back to the beginning... (For anyone who cares, I chose
"Customized" then "Workstation" as my first 2 choices.)
Hey, while I've got the keyboard, I've got a question - if
I want a development workstation that runs sshd server, WHAT
am I supposed to select in those 2 choices???? Or do I just
install 'development' then upgrade as 'server'???
