[expert] error during compile

Hi,
stumped again (seems to be the story of my life recently)
I keep getting the following error message when I try to build a source

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ldb1
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I tried to look up libldb1 at rpmfind...but didn't have much luck....anyone 
know what I've missed?
