Everyone In the atsar man page the following is listed: ############################### -D Statistics about utilization of disk-partitions. For 2.2 kernels a kernel-patch is needed in order to get extended counters from the file /proc/partitions. This patch can be obtained from the site ftp://ftp.uk.linux.org/pub/linux/sct/fs/profiling/. If this patch is not installed, the message not supported is printed when using this flag. ############################## If I go to the ftp site I can't find the kernel patch. Does linux Mandrake have a patch for this? When I run I get the following as expected. ############################# # ./atsar -D 1 10 Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2.2.17-21mdk #1 Thu Oct 5 13:16:08 CEST 2000 i686 06/13/2001 10:59:16 partition busy read/s Kbyt/r write/s Kbyt/w avque avserv _part_ 10:59:17 not supported ############################ Does anyone know where I can get this patch? Has anyone ran this successfully on Mandrake 7.2? Thanks for all your help Dany Allard P.S. Since it is a kernel patch if should work on Suse as well??
