I have the same card, and here is my entries in /etc/modules.conf

btw, I dont use xawtv, but I looked at it.   seems to me it needed an
extra module loaded.  Reread the INSTALL doc that came with the source. 
Or use zapping,  http://zapping.sourceforge.net/
