Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me please - A number of my downloads gave the wrong md5sum recently. Is there anything I can do to get better results? Is there a difference between using ftp to download a file and using rsync and with an empty local directory? (eg: rsync -avvP --stats rsync://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/Mandrake-iso/i586/MandrakeFreq-20010619-inst.i586.iso . [full stop for local directory]) I wonder if the actual download process of rsync has better error checking as it goes along? Are there any other alternatives? Thank you, Daniel.
