Hi Daryl

Yes Good point of view...
But My point is...Why drive with overloaded truck or why try fit 6 inch shit
into 2 inch pot?
I'm not fond of OS what tells you what you can do,I have thought, that linux
has possibilities to customize it as you like...ofcourse using your skills....
I'm not yesterdays bird with linux, fast I'm not guru either, thats why have
to ask questions or show my opinions sometimes.

I have managed customize earlier versions of mandrake to suit my purposes
and boy I LIKE LM....
But this 8.xxx serie seems to be hard target...there is too much depencies
new ones what I have study....

OK...After your mail I burned my coil to myself and used local POWER-WORD(s)
PERKELE....And it helped...Compiled kernel with care and now it works
huge smaller than original, what makes my combu working faster...I think -)

Only thing is what causes problem to me is hamradio....I haven't managed get
that working....I can tell that I have put it working hundreds of times
earlier...But something with this 2.4.x series kernel is doing things what I
don't get...yet.

So my apologies to all,who my earlier msg. hurt.....Still want linux distros
to be customized, not way M$ doing...customize your HW to fit into OS.
