I can't imagine why your shell would be giving a foreground no job control message... I thought that fg and bg were just the shell swapping process's to and from the fore and background,, doesn't sound like the problem is the 7.2 version of RPM... Many of the SRPMS have been giving me a 'fg: no job control' error message. Is there any way to compile such SRPMS using the stock rpm 3.0.5 in mdk 7.2?
