Hi, I have gotten access to my CompactFlash card through a pcmcia CF card adapter. It works fine, but I have one problem:
To keep the system from adding new ide interfaces and exhausting irq's it seems necessary to umount the cf card before ejecting it. While I understand this is good practice, (prevents r/w ops from happening during eject), why doesn't manual ejection cause a cleanup of irq usage. This would make usage run smoother.
