I think you could use the packages , some are in the mdk 8.0 cds.... compat-glibc-7.2-2.1.3.3mdk.i586.rpm compat-libs-5.3-8mdk.i586.rpm others in previous versions: ld.so-1.9.5-13mdk.i586.rpm libc-5.3.12-35mdk.i586.rpm
With this packages I ran older programs in mdk 8.0 . I don't check if they are in the mdk 8.1 cds.
