I had the same problem...  solved with:

image=/boot/vmlinuz-enterprise
        label=linux
        root=/dev/hde5
        initrd=/boot/initrd-enterprise.img
        append=" hdc=ide-scsi devfs=mount mem=1024M"
        read-only                        ^^^^^^^^^^

which loads the -enterprise version.
