can you try loading iXplorer ?? I want to know what the error is, so I can try to fix it, ,but I need to know if its plink or iXplorer itself, which is just a GUI for putty and plink... http://i-tree.org/ixplorer.htm

[...] Never seen/heard of this problem before, but why don't you try using 2.9.9p2 from updates? -- I am using 8.1 and have updated openssh and it works fine with Putty 0.51 for Win32 (if they make it for others). I am pretty sure it worked before the update also.
