I'm trying to install Mandrake 8.1 on a compaq ML530 with a Smart Array 4200 raid controller. To get the install cd to boot I have to use linux mem=640M. The installer partitions and formats the disks and starts installing the packages but hangs after finishing any where from 12% to 75%. Any ideas?
