I have removed kaffe but the problem still is here. Now I have installed the jre 1.3.1 from sun. The problem continues. From 8.0, the difference can be the jre downloaded for mozilla (installed by mozilla installer). If I do "slocate libjava.so" there are several files with this name:
/home/oscar/cmap/lib/linux/native_threads/libjava.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/java2/lib/i386/libjava.so /usr/java/jre1.3.1_01/lib/i386/libjava.so I'm starting the cmap program with this original script: #!/bin/sh # # CMAPHOME=/home/oscar/cmap cd $CMAPHOME LD_LIBRARY_PATH="$CMAPHOME/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" export LD_LIBRARY_PATH $CMAPHOME/bin/jre -classpath "$CMAPHOME/lib/rt.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/swingall.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/jmf.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/jmfbean.jar:$CMAPHOME/classes/core.jar:$CMAPHOME/classes/kaos.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/mail.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/JConfig.zip:$CMAPHOME/lib/activation.jar:$CMAPHOME/lib/MRJToolkitStubs.zip:$CMAPHOME/lib/symantec.jar" kaos.core.CoreStarter $CMAPHOME/classes/core.jar $CMAPHOME/classes/kaos.jar BTW, the requirements of the program are: - kernel 2.2.1 or above - glib 2.1 libraries Any idea?
