Well, I can now confirm that KDE/X crashes on more than one system... just experienced yet another crash just as I do a left mouse click. This has happened 5.-6 times on my main desktop and once on a remote system that I use when away from home.
Has anyone else seen these left-mouse-click KDE/X crashes...? Pierre
