It is not a problem as a workstation. The problem we have run into is in the server arena. Specifically installing Java to use Jakarta, installing our own Apache, icecast for streaming internal press releases across the LAN, etc. As I thought about this some more this morning, perhaps lack of proper documentation might be our problem. I can tell you in working with the other IT guys the frustration rises out of attempting something on Mandrake and it fails the first few times, yet they tell me it works on Red Hat first time. -Scott
