Through GnomeControlCenter's Screensaver icon, I had previously encountered 
xscreensaver-demo.  I had thought of it as the xscreensaver configurator 
and hadn't known it was separate from the Control Center.  I appreciate the 
additional info.  However, I'm still looking for some sort of history info 
so I can easily tell which screensaver was run.
