All, Getting this error message when connected to a Mandrake 8.1 box from a Mandrake 8.2 box via ssh. Other versions of Linux (RH SuSe) don't get the message.
Hm, dispatch protocol error: type 3 plen 4 A site I found on the net suggested that the problem could be solved by adding the following line to sshd_config file. RekeyIntervalSeconds 0 then stop and restart (not -HUP ) the sshd daemon and it's supposed to cure that...... unfortunately it doesn't..... the above line is seen as a config error by sshd in 8.1 and 8.2 any ideas? James
