Hello, I am about to get the optimum online service and I am setting up a bastion firewall. In this respect I would need some advice from those of you who already have this kind of setup. First, what kind of PC do I need, should it be a supper fast computer or would my pentium ii 360 MHz laptop with two ethernet cards be a good choice? I dont know if I should take a superfast computer just to used as firewall. Second, is ipchain powerful enough or should I start thinking of any other firewall app? Third and last, is there anything wrong with the following hardware layout -- [outside line]-> [achine running firewall -> switch -> workstations] or should I change something to maximize security and performance?
