I would like to hear about this one as well. I too have a Laptop PCMCIA not functioning.
I performed a Software Package Update from 8.1 to 8.2. If I'm told once more that is not the upgrade (especially when the option indicates that this is possible for all LM installs since 7.2) path, I think that I'll find a new distribution to work with. How do I get the PCMCIA Ethernet to work?
