I once again have a stable box. 9.0beta4 and the daily cooker
updates, did it. It sits here like a rock for sure. One question.

In 8.0,1,and 2 it only recognizes my VGA as having 4096k of video ram
9.0 recognizes 16megs. (i815 chipset onboard video) Bios is set to 64.
RedHat 7.3 and SuSe 8.0 on the same box see all 64megs of video ram.

cat /proc/meminifo

As you see no shared memory is seen. RH and SuSe however do see it. If
I manually edit XF86Config X will not start or error it just hangs.
(ctrl-alt-f1 is the only cure.)

If I pass mem=448M at boot (512 - 64) no change except the system now
has less total ram. (Yes my mobo is maxed out)

Question is how do I activate shared memory. for now I can't do 24 bit
color in any mode and 3d acceleration suffers greatly. Any ideas?

Mobo ASUS TUSL-2
Chipset Intel i815
Video Intel i815 onboard video.
