Via has an extensive site going on Linux Support... More than most
dedicate to Windows... Kinda neat... It's at

They are claiming that the 8233 chipset is fully supported and have yet
to get into hardcore details... but a point of contact is listed for the
guy writing the article for them.... so....

One thing is though they have heavy linkage to RH and SuSe.  Question
would be.  IF it works under them what do they do different?
