Hello I have a MSI MS-6580 motherboard with 845PE chipset The problem is that when mdk9 boots it gives me
"PCI device 0:1f:1 was disabled because of resource collision" and because of that the computer behaves like a 486 when it comes about reading/writing on the disks. is there any patch for the default 2.4.19 kernel witch comes with the mdk9? or a newer kernel from mandrake? I can try to install a fresh new kernel from kernel.org but I am afraid that the original kernel was patched and particularised by MDK team. any other suggestions are welcomed.
