I tried several times compiling and eliminating hardware which I don't have and which caused compile errors. I think I tried 2.5.62, 2.5.63, 2.5.64 and 2.5.65. I got all to compile in the end, but still it hangs after the "uncompressing kernel". I remember I read once about some major differences in the new kernel... Can anyone enlighten me if kernel from the series 2.5.x can be used on ML 9.1 and if I need to do anything out of the ordinary to get it running?
