Thinking about this a bit more, I'm wondering about that error in mount -a. The 'media not found' is irrelevant, I think, being the LS120 drive not in use. But what about that 'mount: fs type umask=0 not supported by kernel'? The new line put into fstab by Mandrake contains 'umask=0,exec 0 0'. This is a form I haven't met before.
