I was trying to import from kmail.  For some wierd reason I had a 
mixture of formats.  Evo found it impossible to read either the 
maildir folders or the individual entries inside them.  The solution 
turned out to be to make a mbox file and copy all the mails into 
that, then Evo could import it.
