You specify only the dir in the script, but the files are a wildcard. This only works 
on a local machine, not with a url. I've tried and I get something like:

Verifying "rpm1.rpm rpm2.rpm rpm3.rpm rpm4.rpm rpm5.rpm .... etc. etc."

All rpms in the remote server are treated as if they were one file.
