Three machines running MDK 9.1: one of them prompts me with the
existence of a new kernel, the other two don't (via MCC --> Software

two machines, to enable kernel updates to show up?

1)Are you sure that it is showing you an update for the kernel or is it
showing you an update for kernel-source and kernel-doc?

2)On the 2 systems which do not show the update do you have anything
 listed in /etc/urpmi/skip.list?
No pkg ion the skip.list will appear in MandrakeUpdate or rpmdrake.

Are they all getting their info from the same mirror? The one machine could be getting it's info from a mirror that needs to catch up with the rest.
