Yep - that would be the easy way to set it up. Actually - it works out of the Box for postfix and pop3. Just make sure you enable the localdomain to receive and send Mails.
The $HOME/.fetchmailrc should have the following: poll mail.server.bla protocol pop3 user <username>, with password "<secret>", is [EMAIL PROTECTED] here In the /etc/rc.d/rc.local file - add the following line: # Starting fetchmail for different users su <dau> -c "fetchmail -d 900 --syslog" This line will start the fetchmail-process to get the mails all 900s/15minutes. You can decrease the time if you want. Note that I used dau as username for the examples. localdomain is the valid domain the Mailsserver will accept mAILS. For pop3 to work - you have make sure the xinetd-daemon has the pop3/imap servers enabled in the config-files: /etc/xinetd.d/imap /etc/xinetd.d/imaps /etc/xinetd.d/ipop2 /etc/xinetd.d/ipop3 /etc/xinetd.d/pop3s That's mainly it ...
