Hello all, Here's a strange problem I've encountered: I've got a small spec laptop running applications on a ssh-server with Xforwarding. These machines have Belgian keyboards and special characters like ô or è. Locally I get these by first hitting the ^ key and then the letter that goes underneath like an o or a.
This will not work on the server though....probably 'cause it's becomes 2 separate keyboard events due to ssh. I expect that a US-international keyboard would have the same problems. Anybody got any idea's on workarounds, apart from remapping the keyboard? Ergo (methinks); How do you tell a remote-Xserver to keep a certain key-action in cache remotely and then execute it locally and simultaneously with the next key-stroke?
