Just find a mirror and FTP the updates to a directory of your choice.
Easy URPMI should locate a mirror for updates for you.
ftp://mirrors.secsup.org/pub/linux/mandrake/Mandrake/updates/9.2/
as an example. Suck everything in the directory except /SRPMS/ unless
yuo plan to roll your own (all up, about 250MB and rising).

gFTP is a reasonable GUI tool.
