thre's a "sync metadata" extension which will write database data into photos.
yes, it's going to take long time, but don't worry: writing is scheduled, so you can safely close and restart f-spot and it will begin from where it left. greetings, I have a question about the "store tags in files" option if I switch to this option after using the database option for several years, will f-spot convert all the metadata for the thousands of photos I've already tagged/captioned/etc? if so, how do I know when it is done?
