Did some more testing, I have 2 fuji cameras x100s and xe-2. Raw files from x100s end up with wrong date if I rename photos with exiftool, but if I just copy files dates are ok.
Raw files from xe-2 allways end up sorted with the date modified, not date the photos were taken. No matter if I use exiftool or not.
