Polaris clutch
Looking at the clutch with the spring dropped down in the "pocket"
the cam will need to turn about 90deg clockwise to pretension the
spring. I'd put it back in the same hole it was in when you took
it apart, this is assuming that whoever owned the car had it
about right. If not use the middle hole as a starting point.
Polaris secondarys are a mild pain in the butt to pretension
and squeeze back into position to install the snap ring.
Try not to let it get loose and connect with any valuable
body parts.
My memory may be wrong on this but I think I had
a "silver" spring with a 38 deg. cam set in the second
hole from soft.
