From my experience it depends more on the car and driver then the engine. A
properly prepared car running a Kawi with a good driver can easily keep up
with a Rotax powered car. If both car chassis and drivers are equal the
Rotax will probably prevail.

I will be running an auto cross next week I have a 440 Kawasaki I will be
running against a 494 Rotax. How competitive should it be somewhat, not at
all, wished I've never gone? i know it depends on driving ability and car.
just would like to know what to expect.
