Has anyone worked with floating >rotors? > OK...here's the scoop: There is a lot of help available on this email list, but it's important to remember that most questions cannot be answered without complete details. It's also important to remember that almost all F500's are built by talented folks as a "hobby" business, so you're not going to find anything resembling a repair manual, operators guide, or even a good parts list. So...if you can specify the car, size of rotors, type of brake calipers, etc...you'll get some good answers. FWIW, most of our cars use the Wilwood front calipers that accept the Dynalite Single pads (Hawk # HB104). If you are able to find a race near you, or a Solo event where F500's will be....come out and talk with us. Most of us like showing our cars and can explain things much better in person. It can be frustrating trying to figure these things out. Heck, when I got my car I was really concerned because I couldn't figure out how to change the engine oil !!
