If you use Mikunis, check your throttle slides. The jet needle could be stuck.

Whenever I fire the engine, the cylinder to driver's right takes off to 5 or 6K. I tried two different fuel pumps and also switched the carbs with no improvement. I'm also running an aftermarket electric pump ( tried putting stock pulse pump back on and didn't help).
