Those really are not all that big. I ran this setup
last season and can tell you it's nice and solid.
Actually saved about 3 lbs over the old
carriers. Overkill would be gun-drilling that
Titanium shaft and getting a new aluminum driver
(hardcoated and drilled of course) Switching
to ceramic bearings and milling out a 7075
mount for the tensioner bearings. I
would never do that.
I was trying to figure out how to link stuff
in photobucket, at least it was something
off a F500.
