You won't get any from me. I've got a Kawi and a Zink myself. Just bought it last year at about this time.
As to the oil pump issue, I know from nothing about the rules, but I'm pretty sure that you are better off keeping the pump functional. It squirts oil right into the crankcase, and into the cylinders. I just got done rebuilding my motor and found the system is really quite simple.
