Corey
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually I knew that many trailers were mfg in Indiana (Elkhart area comes to mind) but I am coming from Eastern CT near the RI border. It took me twelve hours including stops to get my original Red Devil and trailer back from Medina OH back in Summer 2005. The KBS I am buying is in LaPeer MI which is due north of Detroit and slightly NW of Toledo OH. Mike Quinn suggested a dealer in Toledo who I am contacting. I also know Haulmark has a plant in McAdoo PA which is a possibility for a plant pickup. Again my original idea is to not have to tow a trailer out there or partially out there if I could pick one up when I'm almost there. Every hour and mileage I can save on this trip will be a benefit to me.

Ed,

All the major trailer manufacturers have factories in northern Indiana. I don't know how far away that is from you, but you can save some money by taking factory delivery. You can also price shop any dealer in the country and arrange to pick up at the Indiana factory. I am picking up my Pace trailer this weekend from another of their factories in Georgia. I shopped around and got a great price from a Pace dealer in a different part of Georgia. Look up Dorsey Trailer Sales on the internet. They are good folks and easy to work with.

Also, when I ordered mine, Pace had a special offer for SCCA members for a free door caddy on certain models. Mine didn't qualify, so with a few phone calls I got in touch with a guy in the marketing dept at Pace HQ in Chicago and he approved an exception for my trailer. It didn't hurt that he's a FF driver. That offer has ended, but their may be a new one. Check the SCCA site.

  Ed,

I live in Toledo and I got my Haulmark trailer at Zero Gravity Trailer Sales
on Rt20 (Airport Highway) in Swanton (10 minutes from Toledo). They have
very good service and a nice selection (I think Nate was the guy that helped
me). And, they're easy to get to. There's an 80/90 exit within sight of
the place and 75 is about 10 minutes away. I must not have seen your post,
what car did you buy and from where?
