Doesn't affect it at all -- your changesets don't actually refer to the module itself ('ssh.whatever') so they should apply cleanly to latest master both before and after I merge in the change. Speaking of which -- I have the import/setup.py changes (basically s/ssh/paramiko/) in a branch and will merge those to master today, with luck. > > > On Sep 29, 2012, at 4:18 PM, Jeff Forcier wrote: > > Hi all, > > Big news (some of you may know this already, but now it's totally > public): our 'ssh' fork of Paramiko is now officially defunct and > we're going back to using Paramiko proper: > http://bitprophet.org/blog/2012/09/29/paramiko-and-ssh/ . > > > It's alluded to in that post, but Fab 1.5 will be out soon -- there's > already a lot in master that's not in 1.4.x :( My only excuse is > (still) that I've been busy at the new day job, plus summer vacation + > work trips. > > I just want to get the SSH tunneling feature banged out (which > requires changes to both Paramiko & Fabric) as that's been sitting in > the wings for far too long, and has a bunch of folks helpfully > providing patches/guidance.
