There's no real 'factor' way of doing it. Feel free to work on however you want to do it. At times I've used JQuery, Prototype and Yahoo's libraries with Factor.
Fjsc uses jquery for example to send the factor code and receive the compiled javascript code back. The continuation based web framework uses Prototype for sending/receiving data.
