Now that we have bindings for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQLite, and ODBC, it would be nice if somebody could develop an abstraction layer, like JDBC. And the libs/tupledb O/R mapper, which right now is sitting on top of SQLite, should be rewritten to use this abstraction layer.
