If that puts you off don't bother. I've been able to get pretty
productive on Factor without studying Forth. The concatenative.org
website does a nice job of giving an overview of the Factor language
and what sets this class of langauges apart.

Factors docs are good on their own too. There is a lot written. Where
they fall short, this list and the irc channel are responsive.

http://docs.factorcode.org/ I like the browser version better than
reading them through the factor UI, but it's probably because I'm
running the Factor UI on some pretty old hardware.
