IMOH, it woud be good to snapshot the whole image as Smalltalk does. But Factor is more like what scripting languages, ruby, python... are, not so GUI oriented and dynamic as Smalltalk does currently, Factor does not depend upon an all-mighty image to resume for every reboot, it has no GUI-based code browsers, no package loaders, no canvas for morphic/widgets to draw.... , there is no practical need to snapshot the image.
