I downloaded Emacs.app, and this works for me:

    "/Applications/Emacs.app/Contents/MacOS/bin-x86_64-10_9/emacsclient"
    emacsclient-path set-global

(There are binaries for different versions of OS X and architectures, use
the right one for your machine I guess):

 /Applications/Emacs.app $ find . | grep emacsclient
./Contents/MacOS/bin-i386-10_5/emacsclient
./Contents/MacOS/bin-powerpc-10_4/emacsclient
./Contents/MacOS/bin-x86_64-10_5/emacsclient
./Contents/MacOS/bin-x86_64-10_7/emacsclient
./Contents/MacOS/bin-x86_64-10_9/emacsclient
